Banned from Equestria Alpha Versions

Before Alpha 1.5 became the final build, Pokehidden released five earlier alpha versions (1.0 through 1.4). Each added new characters, routes, mechanics, and fixes. This page archives the evolution of the game.

Alpha 1.0

Original release. Basic structure, limited routes. The starting point of the entire project.

Alpha 1.1–1.2

Expanded character interactions. Bug fixes. More dialog options. Route system taking shape.

Alpha 1.3

New mini-games. Derpy scene added. Mechanics becoming more polished.

Alpha 1.4

Near-final. Most content implemented. Last stop before the 1.5 final release.

FAQ

Which alpha version should I play?

For the complete experience, play Alpha 1.5 (final). Alpha 1.4 is here for historical comparison — it has most of the content but misses some 1.5 additions. Earlier alphas are mainly of archival interest.

Why are 1.0–1.3 not embedded here?

To keep page load fast, each page embeds only one game iframe. Alpha 1.4 is embedded as the representative pre-1.5 build. 1.0–1.3 are available via the Pokehidden external archive links above — same SWF files, different host.
